Paul Says Farewell to Capitol after 43 Years

Following the speculation earlier this week that Paul McCartney will be the launch artist for a new Starbucks record label, comes a report from FOX news that Paul is leaving Capitol Records with immediate effect and taking his entire back catalog of solo albums with him. Except for a short period in the 1980s when he recorded on the Columbia label, Paul has been associated with Capitol/EMI since the first Beatles recordings back in 1964.
