Allthough the Beatles catalog is still not available for download, as of last week the Fab Four’s solo work was. On October 9th iTunes started to offer tracks from nine of George Harrison’s albums with others to follow later this year. iTunes already offers downloads of solo work by Paul McCartney, John Lennon and Ringo Starr.

No real reason for posting this, other than I came across it on YouTube and it just made me smile. Also the fact that I Saw Here Standing There was the first Beatles songs I tried to learn on the bass means it has a special place on my personal Beatles playlist.
The Beatles Story museum and attraction located on the historic Albert Docks in Liverpool has announced that it will be doubling in size.It is also planning to improve visitor facilities as part of the £1m plus investment. According to various reports, it appears that George Harrison will be among the celebrities who will be awarded a pavement star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2008. The only other Beatle to recieve the same honor so far is John Lennon.
