Iconic Beatles Photos Trashed?
According to a report on the UK website Entertainment Wise, EMI and Apple Corp are suing a company called Crystal Systems claiming that in January 2001 a cleaner reportedly threw threw a box into the trash that contained several iconic photos of The Beatles taken in 1963. Among the images lost is the original of the Please, Please Me album cover. EMI and Apple are seeking $1,365,000 in damages.
