The Beatles played a lunchtime session at The Cavern, according to some sources The Bluegenes, The Remo Four and The Pacemakers were also on the bill.
According to newspaper advertisments published earlier in the week The Beatles were also scheduled to play at The Cavern in the evening as well, but for reasons that haven’t yet come to light, they were withdrawn before the event and rescheduled for the following evening.
