BEATLES – Day By Day – 3/9/63

Saturday, 9 March, 1963

Just five days after completing the Helen Shapiro tour the Beatles head out on another national tour package. The tour is adverstized with American singers Tommy Roe and Chris Montez as the headline acts. By the end of the first night at the Granada Cinema on Barking Road in the East Ham area of London, they had been replaced at the top of the bill by The Beatles.

The Beatles standard set for the tour comprised of Love Me Do, Misery, A Taste Of Honey, Do You Want To Know A Secret, Please Please Me and I Saw Her Standing There.
