The Beatles started the day playing one of their regular lunch time gigs at the Cavern Club.
In the evening they played their first gig at the Liverpool Jazz Society located on Temple St. inthe city center. At one time this had been the venue for Sam Leach’s “Iron Door” Club and would return to that name in the not too distant future.
