BEATLES Day By Day 3/4/61
Saturday, 4th March, 1961
Just a single gig for The Beatles on this Saturday with an appearenc at the Aintree Institute in  Aintree, Liverpool.
As well as being the home of a famous horse racing course, in the 1950s, Aintree also played host to several motor races including The British Grand Prix. Among the crowd at the 1955 Grand Prix was a young George Harrison who from that time on would become a devotee of Grand Prix racing and in later years was often seen at events around the world in the company of drivers and team owners.Â
