As part of the continuing Helen Shapiro tour, The Beatles play at the City Hall on Braker’s Pool in Sheffield.
After the show they drive 38 miles to Manchester to appear live on the ABC TV news program ABC At Large aired in the north and midlands of the UK at 11:00pm. They are interviewed at length, but do not perform. Instead a tape of their 17th February performance on ABC’s Thank Your Lucky Stars is replayed.
