BEATLES – Day By Day – 12/3/61
Sunday, 3rd December, 1961
The Beatles played another Sunday lunch time session at the Casbah Coffee Club in the cellar of the Best’s family home in the West Derby area of Liverpool.
Later in the day the group had a meeting with local record store owner Brian Epstein in his offices at the NEMS store, where the idea of him taking on the management of The Beatles was discussed for the first time. The Beatles expressed interest in the proposal but weren’t ready to make any commitments. A follow up meeting was arranged for later in the week.
