BEATLES – Day By Day – 1/22/63

The Beatles stayed in London for a ful day of recordings with the BBC radio at the Paris Studios on Regents Street, and the Playhouse Theater on Northumberland Avenue.
First stop was a live lunchtime interview on the show Pop Inn, to promote the release of Please, Please Me.
In the afternoon the rehearsed and then recorded five songs for an upcoming broadcast of Saturday Club, the top pop radio show at the time. The songs recorded were, Some Other Guy, Love Me Do, Please, Please Me, Keep Your Hands Off My Baby and Beautiful Dreamer. The show was scheduled to be broadcast on the 26th.
In the evening The Beatles recorded performances of Please, Please Me, Ask Me Why and Some Other Guy for edition of The Talent Spot scheduled to be broadcast on the 29th.
