Friday, 3rd August, 1962 Local promoter Albert Kinder promoted his first rock show at the Grafton Rooms on West Derby Road in Liverpool. The Beatles topped the bill with support from Gerry & The Pacemakers and The Big Three.
Wednesday, 1st August, 1962 The Beatles play two gigs at The Cavern today, performing lunch time and night time shows. According to some sources they were joined in the evening by The Mersey Beats and Gerry & The Pacemakers.
Monday, 30th July, 1962 The Beatles played a lunch time gig at The Cavern. In the evening they made a return visit to the St. John’s Hall in Bootle, where promoter Dave Forshaw had renamed his rock night events as the “Blue Penguin Club.”
Saturday, 28th July, 1962 The Beatles played an evening gig at The Cavern before heading across the River Mersey for a gig at the Majestic Ballroom in Birkenhead.
