According to Scottish newspaper The Daily Record, music fan Chris Couch, 38, can’t believe his luck after buying a £1 Dusty Springfield picture at a car boot sale in Essex, England and finding a signed picture of The Beatles behind it. Now why doesn’t that happen to me??

Saturday, 7th July, 1962 The Beatles played the first of four gigs at Hulme Hall, on Bolton Road in the picturesque village of Port Sunlight in the Birkenhead area. It’s estimated that 500 paying customers squeezed in to see The Beatles, 50 over the official capacity for Hulme Hall.
It seems like Paul McCartney’s current sequence of small gigs just keep getting better. Reports from the iTunes Festival gig in the UK suggest that Paul rocked the 300 person crowd with a 25 song set mixing Beatles classics with Wings hits as well as tracks from his new solo album.
