Thursday, 12th July, 1962 The Beatles played a lunch time gig at The Cavern before travelling across to the other side of the River Mersey for a gig at the Majestic Ballroom in Birkenhead in the evening.
It seems that rumors of a possible “Yellow Submarine” iPod are once again going the rounds. Latest buzz is that Apple will launch a special yellow edition iPod preloaded with all the Beatles albums and available exclusively through Apple for up to a month before Beatles downloads become available elsewhere.
