Palm Springs Beatles Collection On-Show with Ringo
When the Ringo Starr All Star Band perfoms its upcoming gig in Palm Springs California it will be accompanied by a special exhibit of Beatles memorabillia from the Ashcraft collection.
Palm Desert resident Ann Marie Ashcraft has been collecting Beatles memorabilia for more than 40 years. She and husband and fellow Beatles fan Richard Ashcraft, have amassed a collection of more than 2,000 items worth about $100,000, including Beatles lunch boxes, wigs, album covers and even board games.
“This is an incredible collection. It’s one of the largest on the West Coast,†said Ruben Padilla, a Beatles expert who has helped the Ashcrafts find some of their rarest items.
