Yoko’s “Real Love” for JCPenney

FOXNews.com reports that Yoko Ono recently sold John Lennon’s rare home recording of “Real Love” to JCPenney for a commercial. The spot began airing on Sunday night during ABC’s “Brothers & Sisters” before JCPenney could even make the announcement.

The Beatles have had their songs licensed for commercials in the past, but with the rare exception of perhaps “Revolution” years ago, they never have allowed master recordings out. The songs are always re-recorded.

You can view the commercial here.

    Hello,

I didn’t see a contact page. But, The Fab Four (Beatles Tribute) are going to be on “Ellen’s Really Big Show” Airing Monday November 19 on TBS. I think this is the first time in 25yrs that a Beatles Tribute was featured performing on a nationally broadcast program. Feel free to include it in your blog, if you see fit. Thanks.
