Pete to Paul – “Let’s Talk”
Over the weekend, the UK newspaper The Independent carried an interview with Pete Best in which the ex-Beatles drummer requested a meeting with Paul McCartney. The two have not spoken since Pete’s sacking in 1962.
“We’re not getting any younger,” Pete said. “We know what we’ve done and we’re not going to think any worse of each other if we had a chat now. God bless us all: it was all 40-odd years ago.”
According to the article “Sir Paul was unavailable for comment about any potential reunions .”
