Missing Submarine Surfaces

For those Blog Me Do readers who may have read the article I wrote in the July/August 2005 issue of Beatlolgy Magazine (above), or heard me speak on the Comic Book Beatles at the recent Chicago Fest For Beatles Fans, you will have heard me mention the aborted Yellow Submarine adaptation that was advertised by Dark Horse Comics back in 1999 but never saw the light of day.

Well this week over at the Comic Book Resources website writer/artists Bill Morrison talks about the project at length and the story of why it never saw the light of day. The article is accompanied by several pages of Bill’s stunning art work for the project. (Page 8 is shown below).

    What a shame that comic did not get released. Come and see my Beatles comic collection at http://www.beatlescomics.com The site has Marvel Super Special 7 on it which also did not get released as well as other gems.
