Is This The Lost Last Photo?

It’s often been quoted that Paul Goresh the fan who famously took photos of John Lennon as he left the Dakota building on that infamous day of December 8th, 1980 had taken one last photograph but the flash had failed to go off. Now, according to the fine folks at the  Beatles Photo Blog that lost photograph has been subjected the technology of the digital age and the wonders of photoshop resulting in the almost sepctral haunting image seen above.

    Hi,

Pretty spooky. It’s almost as if he’s half gone.
Looking at it now is almost as if he has finally come out of the ether one last time, thankfully smiling. I miss John Lennon, more than his music, I miss his humour and anecdotal commentary. This is an appropriate last image, it indicates he wasn’t quite ready to go.
Does anyone know who worked on this?
