During the late morning and early afternoon The Beatles were at the Pathe Marconi Studios in Paris to record German versions of She Loves You (Sie Liebt Dich) and I Want To Hold Your Hand (Komm, Gib Mir Deine Hand) at the insistence of EMI’s West German branch. As the German session went quicker than scheduled, the group also laid down the initial tracks for Can’t Buy Me Love. This would be the only EMI session that The Beatles recorded outside of England.

With the recording session completed The Beatles returned to the Olympia Theatre for two more evening shows.
