Lennon Letter May Top $28,000

Bloomberg reports that a letter written by John Lennon to a journalist who accused the Beatles of exploiting black American music is expected to raise as much as 15,000 pounds ($28,450) at a London auction on May 24, according to a spokesperson for the auction house Bonhams.

Lennon’s Favorite Table For Sale

John Lennon’s favorite table from New York’s Cafe La Fortuna has been placed up for auction by the cafe’s owners. Lennon and his wife Yoko Ono usually sat at the same table but it was “retired” after the singer was murdered in 1980. The minimum bid is $50,000 and the auction can be found here.
