Beatles Menu Sells For $5,800

According to a report in the Sheffield Today newspaper a pub menu signed by John, Paul, George and Ringo during an unannounced visit to the town of Worksop, Nottinghamshire in during 1963 just sold at auction for just over $5,800.

The Fab Four stopped off at the The Normanton Inn, Clumber Park on December 1st 1963, posibly en-route from Sunderland where they had perfomed the night before and the De Monfort Hall in Leicester where they played that evening. An enterprising waitress at the pub managed to get the boys to sign a copy of the pub’s menu.
