BEATLES – Day By Day – 6/9/62

Saturday, 9th June, 1962

“The Beatles Welcome Home Show” at The Cavern drew a record crowd of 900 to the popular Liverpool venue. The show ran from 7:00pm to midnight with The Red River Jazzmen, Ken Dallas and the Silhouettes, and the Four Jays joing The Beatles on the bill.

The Cavern management had signed The Beatles to an exclusive 12 day contract and they would play 11 gigs at the Mathew Street club between now and 20th June.
