The Beatles perform at the Granada Cinema on Castle Gates in Shrewsbury, Shropshire. On the bus ride to the performance John Lennon and Paul McCartney compose the song “From Me to You.” Helen Shapiro is well enough to perform again after having missed two nights in the line-up.
Alan J. Porter has been a Beatles fan since he first saw them perform on a regional British TV show back in 1963 when he was just a wee lad.
