The Beatles played a lunchtime show at The Cavern, the first of five shows at the venue this week.

While, according to Brian Epstein’s story, today two young girls came into his NEMS record store today asking for copies of “My Bonnie.” These requests, on top of the original Saturday request, prompted him to start searching various record importers for a copy, but he was unable to find one.
