Sunday, 17th February, 1963 The Beatles tape an appearance for ABC Television’s “Thank Your Lucky Stars,” which was the most influential British pop program at the time. The Beatles ‘play’ a lip-sync performance of “Please Please Me.”
Saturday, 16th February, 1963 The Beatles perform at Carfax Assembly Rooms, on Cornmarket Street in Oxford. This was their first booking with top London based promoter John Smith.
Friday, 15th February, 1963 The Beatles perform at the Ritz Ballroom, in Kings Heath, Birmingham. This date was a replacement for the January 11th postponed gig at this venue
Thursday, 14th February, 1963 The Beatles return to Liverpool to perform at the Locarno Ballroom’s annual Valentine’s Day Dance.
Wednesday, 13th February, 1963 The Beatles continue to criss-cross the Pennines as they return to Yorkshire for a performance at the Majestic Ballroom in Hull.
Tuesday, 12th February, 1963 The Beatles return north and perform gigs on either side of the Pennines starting off at the Azena Ballroom, Gleadless, in Sheffield, Yorkshire before heading back West for a gig at the Astoria Ballroom, in Oldham, Lancashire

Friday, 8th February, 1963 The Beatles perform at the ABC Cinema, Carlisle, Cumberland, playing for two “houses.” The Beatles, Helen Shapiro, and Kenny Lynch are thrown out of a dance sponsored by the Carlisle Golf Club, being held at the Crown and Mitre Hotel, for wearing leather jackets into the ballroom.
